Lovely 10” convex fusee drop dial wall clock. Line fusee, 8-day movement with thick, shaped shouldered plates and knopped pillars. Original dial paint and signature:- “Wm Strange, Kingston” (listed 1828-51). Blued steel moon hands, locked cast bezel & convex glass. Well-proportioned mahogany case, with slim surround, unusual side and locking bottom doors. Flame veneers set off by lovely brass inlays. Fully serviced and guaranteed for two years.
